And for wildlife lovers the newest National Nature Reserve on the South Downs is announced.  The Holiday Barns are in the centre of the reserve with Lullington Heath just a short walk fromj the village.

And all the Farm produce can be found on our stall at East Dean Market on the 4th Wednesday in the month and at South Downs National Park Visitor Centre.  Also at Uckfield for the Beekeeper's Fair on Saturday 9 May and South Downs National Park May Market on Sunday 17 May

The new Heringaud Barn - named after a Family from the C13th who owned the Manorial Farm - is two bedrooms two shower rooms and a fantastic location here in the middle of West Dean village in the South Downs National Park.  We're just 5 mins walk from the new Vistor Centre.  Short Breaks are available for 2 nights and more

We are Award Winnng Holiday Cottages on a small farm in West Dean. The Seven Sisters Country Park is a few minutes away and Friston Forest surrounds this South Downs hamlet. The sea and undeveloped estuary at Cuckmere Haven, Glyndebourne and Lewes are close by and the resorts of Brighton and Eastbourne are just a few miles.
Visit the South Downs NP a few minutes on foot through the woods for wildlife updates, maps and trails and cooked breakfast at the Salt Marsh Cafe
Dogs are welcome and the field next to the Barns is good for that early and late walk.  Lots of off road forest trails as well as riverside paths to the sea at Cuckmere Haven and Alfriston and Seven Sisters.
